Since the Riverbend Humane Society is a fledgling organization, we constantly need financial support. Consider pledging a regular amount or remembering the shelter in your will. But there are ways to help our animals other than making a financial donation. Of course, giving a shelter dog or cat a loving home is good for the animal, good for you and good for the shelter and community. Making a purchase, donating used items in good condition or having your pet groomed at the Hope for Animals Resale Shop and Grooming Parlor are ways to help the shelter. Time is a great gift! Volunteer your time to help at the shop or shelter or with fundraising. If you have a party coming up to celebrate a birthday or anniversary consider making it a Riverbend Humane Society Party to which your guests bring donations of funds or supplies for the shelter.
